This little Sinterklaas collection has been a joy to make, now online at Family Fabrics!

House of words

My daughter has discovered letters and words and to introduce her to reading and writing I've created this little house. In the house live a little gnome who just received a little envelope filled with words, but now she needs a little help with matching these words to letters and pages in her home!

Natural dye research

When I'm working in my studio, I often have a pot on the stove to experiment with natural dye. I've photographed some of these results and added this to my portfolio - as this has been a big part of my color choices for assignments and personal work. 

Color library

For the past year I have been focusing on color and texture to create a personal color library for future inspiration. Combining material (paper or fabric) with natural dyed or hand painted/drawn color gives a whole new level of color experience and subsequently leads to new ideas for products and designs. Now I just need to find a way to showcase this...

New website

I've just launched this new website, so this is a good time to give myself a bit of a branding for a change! I like to keep things simple, versatile yet cheerful, so it matches well to my diverse portfolio.

Printing on demand?

Lately I've been making these extra large hand-stencilled posters for our house. I'm thinking of creating a little online shop for posters on demand, or even a hand-printed textile service... Can't wait? Contact me and maybe I can make something for you too!
